Cumin Biscuits (Zeera Biscuits)

A sweet and salty yumlecious tea time snack. One of my daughters favorite tea time snack. We love to dip these yummy biscuits in our garam garam chai. Do try out this no fail recipe.

Ingredients:

2 tablespoon cumin seeds,

3 cups all purpose flour,

1/2 salt,

1 cup butter,

3 tablespoon milk,

6 tablespoon caster sugar

Method: In a large bowl combine butter with castor sugar and whisk until the mixture is fluffy and creamy, add flour, cumin seeds, salt and milk. Knead to form a dough. Pre-heat oven to 360 degrees. Roll out dough and cut with a round cookie cutter. Place biscuits on a glazed baking tray and bake for 20 minutes or until the biscuits turn golden brown in color. Remove from oven, cool and store in an air-tight container serve when required. Enjoy these yumlecious treat with hot cups of tea.
