Potato & Cheese Cutlets

These yumlecious potato cheese cutlets are are really quick to make. All they take is approximately 30 minutes. So you can make this literally any time. If you have guests coming over you can make these and just shallow fry them when the guests arrive and voila tasty potato cheese cutlets are ready!


The ingredients are quite simple! You would probably have all the ingredients for this recipe, at your home. Boiled potatoes, breadcrumbs, cheese, a handful of spices and oil. That’s it!


Ingredients:-

2 large potatoes

1 cup grated cheese

6 pods garlic chopped

1 jalapeno chopped

1 tomato chopped

1 medium onion chopped

1 bunch cilantro chopped

2 tablespoon chopped mint

Salt to taste

1/2 tsb cumin seeds

Paprika 1 tsp

Black Pepper 1/2 tsb

Turmeric 1/2 tsb

Chat masala 1 tsp

Oil for shallow frying

Bread crumbs 1/2 cup

1 Egg

Direction:-

Boil and mash potatoes and keep it aside. In a pan add 1 tablespoon oil add chopped onions and sauté add chopped garlic ,

Grate the cheese, add salt, red chilli powder, garam masala, chopped onion, chopped coriander leaves, chopped black raisins and mashed potatoes.

Make medium size balls shape to form cutlet. Take a bowl and make a thick batter with the corn flour.

Heat oil in a wok. Dip the cutlets in the batter, coat with bread crumbs and deep fry them. Serve with salad, chutney of your choice with Nan or Paratha.
