Hi my name is Deborah Santamaria also known as Debbie or Deb among my circle of friends. I am a Goan, born and brought up in Karachi, Pakistan now residing in the USA.
My love affair with cooking started when I was 10 years old, I loved my Grandma’s, MOM's & DAD's cooking, it was this never ending quest to satisfy my taste buds and my love for food that got me motivated to start cooking.
The first recipe that I tried out was one of my grandma's favorite Cream Caramel which has also been my favorite to date. My kitchen is like my office. It isn’t just a place where I keep my tools and ingredients; it’s also a place where I keep my memories.
I love cooking Goan, Pakistani, and Continental dishes…. My belief is that the most important ingredient for cooking is LOVE.
